BTW, couldn't comment on the previous post (which might have been on purpose on your side, so sorry if I'm writing when I should shut up), but I just wanted to say wow.

That was such a powerful post. Both about the ambivalence about other people having kids, and about the ultimate connection with them, in grief and love. It was incredibly well-written, too, that's the sort of thing that should get published in utne.com magazine or anywhere, for that matter.

I'm really sorry for your friends, too. I wish I could say something to alleviate the pain, but I know that there is nothing. Only the love of those around them (and time) can help them.
